The Dinosaur Time Machine is roaring into Karralyka these Easter school holidays with two shows on Thursday 15 April.

Dinosaur Time Machine is an award-winning children’s theatre show that gives dinosaur lovers a fun and educational experience combining science with circus, puppetry, simple narrative and imaginative play.

Guided by two time-travelling ‘scientists’, this creative pre-historic performance is filled with up-to-date discoveries and scientific facts that transport audiences of all ages back to a time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

Delivered as part of Karralyka’s Karrakids program, take a trip in a giant time machine and learn about the ancient world of dinosaurs, with a chance to get up close and personal with a life-sized baby T-Rex!

There is a quiz for those in the know about dinosaur facts (did you know that the kangaroo appeared on the evolutionary chain before the mammoth?), and a 3D timeline demonstrating how long dinosaurs ruled the Earth compared to the length of time that humans have been around.

The show doesn’t stop at palaeontology; concepts such as geography and biology are also incorporated. And did we mention the life-sized baby T-Rex?

From the company that brought you Rogue (Ringwood Spiegeltent 2019), Highwire Entertainment’s Dinosaur Time Machine was named ‘Best Children’s Show’ at the 2016 Adelaide Fringe - the southern hemisphere’s largest and Australia’s biggest, open access arts festival.
