Final preparations are being made to Mars Stadium ahead of Friday night’s clash between Melbourne Rebels and Queensland Reds.
Mars Stadium ground staff will this week complete line marking the field as momentum grows around the stadium’s first rugby match.
The gates to Mars Stadium will open at 4.30pm on Friday afternoon, with kick-off at 6pm.
More than 2000 people are expected to attend Friday’s practice match.
The Melbourne Rebels will also host their Little Rebels Clinic aimed at youths aged between 5-11 years from 4.30-5.30pm. All tickets (prices outlined below) will be available to purchase on the day at Mars Stadium. There will be no Eftpos facilities available on the day, so cash will be required to purchase a ticket. Adults $10 Concession $5 (students over 16 and pension card holders) Children under 16 FREE
The City of Ballarat has entered into a three-year partnership with the Melbourne Rebels, providing the region’s rugby union fans a chance to see their idols in action right here in Ballarat.
