Summer in the City of Hobart is just warming up with a spectacular line-up of events, catering to every taste and age.

From thrilling family weekends to tantalizing food and wine festivals, international sporting and entertainment events, Hobart promises an unforgettable experience for all.

Acting Hobart Lord Mayor Helen Burnet said the Tasmanian capital shone under the summer sun.

"Hobart is proud to present a diverse and exciting array of events this summer, reinforcing our city's reputation as a vibrant and welcoming community,” Cr Burnet said.

“From family fun to culinary delights, there truly is something for everyone in Hobart."

Hobart Creative City Portfolio Chair Cr John Kelly said it had been a smashing start to the summer with the Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations, Hay Days concert and the Sydney to Hobart, but there was still plenty to come.

"Our city's creative spirit is on full display this summer, with a calendar of events and programs that celebrate the rich tapestry of Hobart's culture,” Cr Kelly said.

“These experiences showcase the diversity and talent within our community, creating memories that will last a lifetime."
