Keep your children entertained these school holidays at Hyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery.

Escape into a world of sensory wonder at Sound of Drawing, where art and technology unite to create a live tapestry of sound and creativity.

Take your place at the drawing table, put on your headphones and let your imagination run wild.

As you draw, listen to every scratch, swirl, tap and scribble come to life, with sensitive microphones capturing the sounds of pastel on paper.

Sessions run daily from 10.30am to 12.30pm. More details here.

Visit Wodonga Plaza on January 16 or 23 for a special Storytime these holidays as Hyphen staff share stories, songs, and rhymes, followed by a hands-on craft activity. 

Recommend for children aged five to 10 years. All welcome.

Be inspired to create your very own artwork at Hyphen.

Whether you’re an experienced artist or a total beginner, you can get creative at our interactive drawing space.

Be inspired from the drawing prompt provided – or simply let your imagination run wild.

Then on January 11 and 12, ignite your imagination these holidays for the NGV Kids on Tour where children can get creative through art activities such as drawing, collage and paper construction developed by artists and the National Gallery of Victoria.

Parents and carers are asked to stay for this activity to supervise and assist when necessary. 

Recommended for ages five to 14 years.

We are here to help you find the perfect read so just “Ask a Librarian” on how to start your adventure between the pages of a book. 

Join artist Vern Bartlett in exploring drawing, mark marking and simple print techniques using everyday household items and accessible materials.  

Children will be introduced to a variety of techniques, mediums and materials through step-by-step activities.

They can create at their own pace or collaborate with others to unlock new ways to express their creativity. 

Recommended for children aged 8 to 14 years.

Join us for a Bejewelled adventure at our drop-in beading and jewellery-making workshop at Hyphen.

Make the place shimmer with your enchanting creations, inspired by your Wildest Dreams. Make your own friendship bracelets in your own distinct Style. 

A selection of different stations with beads and jewellery-makings material will be provided in this drop-in workshop presented by The Cats Pyjamas. 

All welcome. Recommended for ages 6 and older. Children aged under 12 must be supervised.
