Rates due 1 November - pay early and receive a 10% discount on general rates

Keep an eye on your letterbox with rates notices set to arrive from Monday, 2 October 2023.

Prompt payment of rates will secure a 10 per cent discount on general rates, if paid on or before Wednesday, 1 November 2023.

The 10 per cent discount applies to general rates, and excludes all utility, special rates and charges, provided outstanding amounts and overdue rates and interest are paid in full by the due date.

Ratepayers who have encountered delays with the postal service in their area can register their email address with Council for an additional rates notice to be issued electronically.

If you have recently moved or changed your contact details, please check that you have informed Council to ensure delivery of rates notices on time.

Family budgets are already strained and Council has worked hard to limit the rate increase to 4 per cent for residential households.

The total average residential rates bill will go up by less than $2.75 a week for most residents.

If you have not received your rates notice by Friday, 13 October 2023 please contact Council.

Ratepayers can register their details for electronic notices by phoning 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227) and speaking to Council’s Rating Team, or emailing [email protected] between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
