The Gannawarra Library Service’s popular Author Talks series continues next week, with the Cohuna Library branch to host a session with debut novelist, Vince Craig.

An Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force veteran, Mr Craig will talk about how his experiences inspired his debut novel, Truth Be Told during the Author Talks session on Thursday, 7 September from 2pm.

“The Gannawarra Library Service’s Author Talks program continues to grow in popularity, evident with close to capacity attendance figures for sessions held at Kerang this year,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Rollinson said.

Set in the Central Victorian Goldfields and the Australian Outback, Truth Be Told is a thrilling story that involves the uncovering of a secret that entangles friends and foes in a battle of wits, dangerous encounters, and a major government conspiracy.

“People who attend this session will gain an insight into Vince’s experiences and how these shaped the themes and characters that feature in his debut novel,” Mr Rollinson said.

Places for this Author Talks session are limited. To book your spot or for more information, please phone the Gannawarra Library Service on (03) 5452 1546.
