The Rush Festival is set to return with 3 days of activities and entertainment from 6 – 8 October 2023.

Following the success of Rush Festival last year, the weekend of fun is coming back.

Charters Towers Regional Council is committed to making the Rush Festival a signature event for the Region, one that the community will get behind and be proud of.

Rush Festival Spokesperson Jason ‘Wolfie’ Wolfgram said he was excited to see the return of the Festival and is looking forward to making this event a real drawcard.

“With activities planned to cater for all ages over the entire weekend, this year’s event is sure be a fun experience for everyone,” said Mr Wolfgram.

The weekends festivities will commence on Friday night with the annual Twilight Markets & Film Festival, where you will be able to enjoy laid back entertainment, watch locally made short films, grab something tasty to eat and browse the stalls for a bargain.

Saturday’s Goldrush Concert will see live music from 2pm, with various artists rocking the stage through the afternoon and well into the night, followed by the annual Towers Rush event on Sunday morning.

This year’s festival will once again see headline artists, alongside local performers.

“Announcing the event early gives everyone the opportunity to lock the date in and spread the word.

“We are hoping to increase visitation to the Region and encourage visitors to plan an extended stay so they can really enjoy their time here and explore what we have to offer,” continued Mr Wolfgram .

Announcements regarding the live acts that will be entertaining everyone on Saturday, will be made soon, however everyone is encouraged to keep the weekend free, share the news and make plans for a great weekend.
