Winkleigh Road Closed to Heavy Vehicles Thursday 9th February 2023 for approximately 4 weeks.Our contractor TasSpan - Civil Contracting began site works on Monday 6th February 2023 to replace bridge 709 on Winkleigh Road, the first bridge out of Exeter over Stony Brook.
A one-lane temporary bypass has been installed next to the bridge to allow light vehicles to pass through during works. Heavy vehicles, including trucks and tractors, will need to detour via Frankford Highway and Glengarry Road from Thursday 9th February 2023.
Variable message boards are already in place on Winkleigh Road advising of the works which will take approximately 4 weeks to complete. Please adhere to all traffic management on site.
