EDUCATION & PUBLIC PROGRAMS OFFICER (PART-TIME)

The Central Coast Council is seeking to appoint an Education & Public Programs Officer  at Hive.

Located in Ulverstone, Hive is home to the Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre, Museum and Art Gallery, Planetarium and Tasmanian Science Centre and is the home of Leven Regional Arts, the North-West Woodcraft Guild and an on-site cafe.

This position is responsible for the delivery of the Arts & Culture function within the Council, by assisting in the development and delivery of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related programs and activities at Hive. 

Essential:  Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or experience in education, arts and science extension or a similar field, and highly developed computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Salary and conditions:  Part-time position (22.5 hours per week).  Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Professional Officer Level 1.1 ($35.30 per hour).
