After consultation with the community, the Council has decided to extend its declared smoke free areas. Smoking tobacco is not permitted in these areas.

In Ulverstone, a small section of Apex Park has been added and the laneway which accesses the Coles supermarket.

Sections of Main Road Penguin will also be smoke free.

The new restrictions take effect on 1 December 2022.
