Local government elections are taking place in October this year and the Central Coast Council will be holding a Candidate Information Session for anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a Councillor.

Commencing at 7.30pm on Tuesday 9 August 2022, the session will be held in the Council Chamber at the Administration Centre, 19 King Edward Street, Ulverstone and provide information about:

the role of the Council the roles and responsibilities of Councillors background on the structure of local government and how our Council operates services and functions the Council provides what is expected of a Councillor, including amount of time required what support is provided how Councillors are elected.

The session will be informal and interactive, with prospective candidates urged to ask questions.
