Cardinia Business Networking Breakfast returns for 2022 Published: 28 February 2022

Cardinia Shire Council is pleased to announce to our local business community, the first Cardinia Business Networking Breakfast for the year.

Taking place on Wednesday 30 March at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, the event will focus on staff and skill shortages and the support and assistance available.

The breakfast will feature guest speaker Brett Ornstien, the current regional manager of Job Prospects. Brett has over 20 years of experience in Employment Services and an understanding across many federal and state government contracts including JobActive, ParentsNext, and Disability Employment programs.

Also in attendance will be local employment and training providers, who will be available to speak with businesses about their individual employment needs and training requirements.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Jeff Springfield said Council is excited to provide this opportunity for our local business community to formally network and reconnect face-to-face, after what is and has been a challenging time for businesses.

“With so many businesses in the shire experiencing staff and skill shortages, together we can address this issue and guide our way through the range of support options available.”
