Little Penguin Deaths - Assistance required to identify dog

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (Parks and Wildlife Service) is investigating the death of 17 little penguins at Burnie’s West Beach in late December.

Parks and Wildlife Service is now seeking public assistance to help identify a dog captured on a CCTV camera in the area around the time of the attacks. 

Anyone with information about the dog pictured or about the penguin deaths at West Beach is asked to contact Parks and Wildlife Compliance or Crime Stoppers.
