Light up CH winners announced for 2021

Posted on December 22, 2021

Christmas lights have amped up the feel-good factor, with more than 400 Central Highlanders voting in our inaugural Light up CH People Choice Awards.

Rolleston resident Shen Schefe has come out on top with more than 130 votes for her Christmas-themed lights display emoji.

‘My kids and I wanted to bring Christmas cheer to the community and bring everyone together,’ said Shen Schefe.

‘We just wanted to bring a smile to people’s faces and did not expect to win.

‘I want to thank the Central Highlands Regional Council, The Emerald Plaza and HitFm for organising this competition.’

With more than 40 displays submitted in this year’s competition, 20 homes and businesses have received an award for their holiday cheer.
