Changed delivery for our facilities and services in extended lockdown

With the easing of COVID-19 circuit-breaker restrictions in regional Victoria from 11.59pm on Thursday 3 June, select Macedon Ranges Shire Council facilities and services will reopen.

Services and facilities to remain closed during extended lockdown period:

Aquatic and Leisure facilities will remain closed Events and facility bookings (other than those for emergency/childcare support) will be cancelled Any community consultations involving face to face drop-in’s will not go ahead Visitor Information Centres will remain closed

Services and facilities permitted to reopen, or remain open:

Customer Service Centres will reopen at all sites Libraries and Toy Libraries will reopen Hanging Rock will reopen with restrictions on numbers; with a maximum of 50 people, and groups no larger than 10 Kindergartens will remain open School crossing staff will continue to provide services Maternal and Child Health services will resume providing COVID normal services with appropriate PPE and COVID safe precautions. Community Care will continue to provide critical services and defer any non-essential appointments Resource recovery and bin collection will still occur as scheduled Junior sport and training for adults will resume

For local businesses, please note that you are compelled to check the IDs of everyone you serve to ensure they are not from Melbourne.

Residents who live in the Macedon Ranges and travel to Metropolitan Melbourne for work or other purposes, are also required to follow these restrictions while in Metropolitan Melbourne.
