Tree of Life: Seniors Music and Movement Program is a four-week workshop program combining exercises in meditation, music-making and movement facilitated by a collective of highly skilled and experienced teaching artists. The program will be led by Dr Anthony Garcia, the co-founder and artistic director of Sounds Across Oceans. He is accomplished guitarist, composer, educator and producer dedicated to building bridges between cultures and communities through innovative arts programming. Dancers - no prior knowledge required Musicians - rudimentary or intermediate knowledge of how to play an instrument is encouraged. All styles and sounds welcome. The workshops are designed for participants to meet for two hours a week across four concurrent weeks and it is recommended that you are able to come to all sessions.
