Mildura CBD Access & Mobility Strategy – Round 2 Consultation

Published on 30 April 2021

Following the recent adoption of the CBD Plan 2020-2035, Council has appointed the Institute for Sensible Transport to prepare a CBD Access and Mobility Strategy.

The project commenced in August 2020 and aims to improve access and mobility to and around the Mildura CBD. A key objective is to encourage more people to walk, cycle, scooter into the CBD rather than drive.

As part of the initial community engagement a community survey was conducted in October 2020, in addition to a series of key stakeholder workshops. Initial consultation concluded with a Councillor workshop in January 2021.

Site assessment, data and policy analysis work has also informed the project and has been prepared to be the focus of the second round of community engagement and we encourage your involvement.
