The State Government has announced that Victoria will enter a five-day hard lockdown from 11.59 pm tonight (12 Feb).

A stage four lockdown means there are only four reasons to leave your home:

Shopping for essential supplies Care and caregiving Exercise limited to 2hrs per day Essential work or permitted education

Remember to keep your distance and get tested at East Grampians Health Service if nay symptoms or have been to a Tier 1 exposure site.

Many Council amenities will be closed during this period, this includes:

Council Reception (enquiries can still be made through calling 5355 0200 or emailing [email protected]) Ararat Fitness Centre Ararat Library and Outreach program Ararat Gallery TAMA Lake Bolac Willaura and Ararat Outdoor Pools Transfer Stations

Kerbside Collection, Home and Community Care, Meals on Wheels and Maternal and Child Health will remain open during this time.

Accessing food, medical supplies, and other essentials if you cannot do this yourself If you are isolated and need someone to talk to If you know of anyone who is vulnerable or at a high risk and needs help Someone who has no family or friends to call on for help Referring you to local agencies to provide other specific assistance
