Families encouraged to return child care packs by 13 November

Families who have not returned their 2021 Child Care Enrolment Packs to the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre are encouraged to do so by Friday, 13 November 2020.

Enrolment packs were distributed in mid-October to families who had expressed interest via Council’s website or who already access services at the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre, with all enrolments to assist staff with planning for 2021.

“Council thanks families who have already returned their enrolment packs, and encourages those yet to do so to return their pack by 13 November,” Gannawarra Shire Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.

“Council is proud to manage centre-based care at the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre in Kerang, as well as Family Day Care programs at Cohuna, Kerang and Leitchville.”

Families still considering their child care options for 2021 can still request an enrolment pack by visiting www.gsc.vic.gov.au/enrolments or by contacting the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre on (03) 5452 1357.

“Council’s child care program cater for all needs, whether it is centre-based care for babies to pre-schoolers  at Kerang’s Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre or our Family Day Care program, which provides quality care for young babies through to pre-teens in comfortable, safe, home environments,” Mr O’Reilly said.

“Families who return completed forms by 13 November are more likely to be allocated the days they wish their child to attend.”
