Save the date for free green waste drop off days

Baw Baw Shire Council is offering free green waste drop off days at our transfer stations in November and December to make it easier for residents to prepare their properties for the upcoming fire season.

This is a great opportunity for all residents to do some outdoor spring cleaning before the warmer weather arrives.

Free green waste drop off days Neerim South Transfer Station

When: 10.00am - 4.00pm, Friday 20 November and Sunday 22 November Where: Neerim East Road, Neerim South

Erica Transfer Station

When: 12.00pm - 4.00pm, Sunday 22 November and Monday 23 November Where: Mathiesons Road, Erica

Trafalgar Transfer Station

When: 10.00am - 4.00pm, Saturday 28 November and Sunday 29 November Where: Giles Road, Trafalgar

Lardner Transfer Station

When: 10.00am - 4.00pm, Saturday 5 December and Sunday 6 December Where: Simpson Road, Lardner

Handy information Drop off up to three cubic metres of green waste per household for free. Available to all residents living in the municipality (owners or tenants). Bookings are not required. Simply present ID as proof of residency e.g. current driver’s license or rates notice. Offer not available for commercial properties. Green waste must be separated from other waste or it will be charged at the standard rate.
