Celebrate Plastic Free July with our All Things Reusable virtual workshop! Published: 16 June 2020

Community members are invited to attend a free virtual workshop to learn about ways to reduce waste in and around the home.

Hosted by Cardinia Shire Council and Casey Cardinia Libraries, the ‘All Things Reusable’ workshop will help residents to reduce waste in their home, with a range of sustainable examples, tips, and home set-up ideas.

The session will also feature a question-and-answer segment for residents to ask any of their zero waste questions.

Taking place on Sunday July 12, the workshop is the perfect opportunity for residents to celebrate ‘Plastic Free July.’

Plastic Free July is a global movement that encourages people to be part of the solution to plastic pollution on order to create cleaner streets, oceans and communities.

The initiative encourages participants to reduce their use of single-use plastic waste at home, work, school and even the local café.
