I am currently working on a suite of measures to assist Gold Coast businesses and will be announcing these no later than Tuesday next week.Even though we are in caretaker mode, I’ll be taking some decisions as Council CEO to assist local business recognising that they are in survival mode.In addition I’m also committed to preparing a suite of stimulus proposals which will be considered by the next Council. These measures will focus on appropriate actions for individual industries including the film and television industry, education industry, tourism industry, development industry and others.
