As a result of action taken by other agencies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 into the Cape York Councils a number of Police Checkpoints have been set up within Mareeba Shire. Anyone who has to travel through the police checkpoints will require a Permit even if the travel is to somewhere within Mareeba Shire. Please click the link below to apply for a travel permit.
