Food safety training for local business

Local food businesses are encouraged to attend a custom designed food safety training course called ‘Food Safety is Everyone's Business’ to improve knowledge of food safety and enhance customer service.

Run by professional facilitators, the training is available to all business owners, managers and staff of local restaurants, cafes, bed and breakfasts, caterers and alike.

The training focuses on food safety standards and requirements of the Food Act 1984, and details recent changes to legislation that may affect food business. Attendees will be able to access tools to support customers with food allergies and intolerances, prevent food poisoning and overall improve the level of food safety across the industry. 

Three local sessions will be held.

Yarragon session

Warragul session

Tickets are being offered at a significantly reduced rate of $10 per person to ensure all food businesses can access quality training at an affordable price.
