An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Groundsperson to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in Moranbah.

Reporting to the Team Leader, this position is responsible for assisting with grounds maintenance of community usage areas including sportsgrounds, parks, open spaces and cemeteries for the Engineering & Infrastructures across Isaac Regional Council. 

The successful candidate will have:

Minimum 12 months’ experience in this position, or similar; Qualifications in either greenkeeping, horticulture, arboriculture, or similar; Relevant certification for equipment, plant and poison operations; Australian Open C Class driver’s licence; Construction Blue/White Card; and The ability to pass pre-employment medical.

For this position we offer:

Salary $53,226.34 - $54,467.87 per annum + allowances Nominally 38 hours per week 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading 12% super in accordance with Council policy Nine-day fortnight (RDO’s) in accordance with Council policy
