TasWater have advised the following water restrictions for the Central Coast municipal area, which will be in place until 31 March 2020:

Stage 1 towns – Heybridge, Sulphur Creek, Preservation Bay, Penguin, Leith and Forth

Watering gardens and lawns is allowed on any day with the following restrictions: . Manual watering systems to be used between 6am and 8am and 8pm and 10pm. . Automatic watering systems to be used between midnight and 4am. . Handheld hoses fitted with a trigger nozzle, buckets or watering cans can be used anytime.

Watering of lawns: (as above).

Stage 2 towns – Ulverstone, Turners Beach and Gawler

Watering gardens is allowed on allocated days** with the following restrictions: . Manual watering systems to be used between 6am and 8am and 8pm and 10pm on allocated days. . Automatic watering systems to be used between midnight and 4am on allocated days. . Handheld hoses fitted with a trigger nozzle, buckets or watering cans can be used anytime on allocated days.

Watering of lawns – is not permitted.

**Allocated days . Odd numbered properties may water on odd dates. . Even numbered and no numbered properties may water on even dates. . All properties may water on the 31 January, 29 February, 31 March.
