Low pressure in water Supply - Moranbah

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise residents that water may be running at a lower pressure across the town network at Moranbah.

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise residents that water may be running at a lower pressure across the town network at Moranbah:

From: 9pm on Wednesday 18 December 2019

To: 3am on Thursday 19 December 2019

This is due to work required in the water and wastewater network. The Clements St reservoir will be disconnected from the main reservoir and pressure may drop in the eastern side of Moranbah. This may result in limited or no water pressure in some areas.

Council is requesting residents to reduce consumption by not using sprinklers to help minimise impacts during the period of works.

Some residents may experience instances of dirty water once the water supply has been restored from 3am on Thursday 19 December 2019. It is recommended to flush services for up to five minutes or until the water becomes clear. To avoid wasting water, we recommend that it be used on your garden or lawn.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their cooperation in minimising water usage during this period. Call Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227).
