Carols bring festive cheer to Harmony Square

28 November 2019

Carol’s in Harmony Square will return in 2019, promising the perfect way to bring in the festive season.

Now in its 72nd year, Carols in Harmony Square will once again be hosted by Denis Walter OAM.

Denis Walter is synonymous with Christmas in Melbourne and has been a regular at carol events for decades.

He will be joined by the Greater Dandenong Brass Band, The Kazoos and Santa, the Velvetones, the Amore Duet and Keysborough soloist Vanessa Cox.

Live carol performances will also be presented by schools and churches in the City of Greater Dandenong.

As well as live music there will also be free face painting and kids’ activities all evening.

Santa will make a special guest appearance and will be happy to pose for a photo.

A Christmas Market will be set up for anyone looking for some last minute gift ideas. Artwork from Walker St Gallery’s popular 9 by 5 exhibition will also be available for sale.

Bring a picnic, warm up those vocal chords and sing along to some of your favourite Christmas songs at this free family event.

Carols in Harmony Square will be held on Friday, 13 December from 7pm to 9.30pm.

Free parking will be available in the Thomas Street and Walker Street multi-deck car parks after 6pm.
