The Central Coast Council is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person as its Environmental Health Officer.

The successful candidate will administer the relevant Act, Regulations and Australian Standards as apply to the function of environmental health and provide an effective and efficient environmental and public health service for the Central Coast municipal area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person who thrives on teamwork, has excellent communication skills and has a knowledge and understanding of the relevant Acts, Regulations and Standards.

Essential: Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification as approved by the Director of Public Health to enable appointment under the Public Health Act 1997 and the ability to understand, interpret and apply legislation for practical enforcement purposes.

Salary and conditions: Full-time position. Central Coast Council’s Enterprise Agreement – Professional Officer Level 2–3 depending on qualifications and experience.
