New look for Wodonga Library's temporary home
City of Wodonga 20 Nov 2019

Wodonga Library opened its doors at 194 High St this morning.

The move is temporary while works are under way on the library-gallery redevelopment.

"Wodonga Library is really pleased with our new location in High St," Wodonga Library Team Leader Michelle Fracaro said.

"We hope that over the time we are here we will attract new patrons and people who may not know about all of the amazing services that are available at the library including computer help and access, e-resources and programs."

Keep an eye out for pop-up activities around the city with the Arts Space Wodonga team.

The first pop-up will be Christmas craft on December 5 at the Wodonga Library from 11am to 1pm.

Also, the National Gallery of Victoria will return to Wodonga on January 16 at Wodonga Plaza from 11am to 1pm.

Partnering with Arts Space Wodonga, this year’s theme is playtime and will feature KAWS-inspired sculpture, drawing and collage.

KAWS is the nickname for artist Brian Donnelly, whose body of work straddles the worlds of art, fashion and design.

He is known for his sculpture work that is a hybrid of cartoon and human characters.

All events are drop in and all ages are welcome.

Children under 12 need to be supervised by an adult.
