Now is the time to nominate – Australia Day Awards 2020

Community champions, outstanding achievers and unsung heroes – do you know someone worthy of recognition? Nominations are now open for the 2020 Central Highlands Australia Day Awards and will close 5.00 pm on Monday, 6 January 2020.

Each year, the awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and organisations in our region, across six categories:

Citizen of the Year Young Citizen of the Year Community Event of the Year Senior Sportsperson/ Administrator of the Year Junior Sportsperson of the Year Cultural Award

A nomination can easily be completed online, and paper copy nominations are available in council’s customer service centres and libraries.
