Council launches 2020 Arts & Culture program

Get the inside scoop on what is on offer in the Macedon Ranges next year in the world of music, comedy, drama, exhibitions, workshops and family entertainment.   All will be revealed on Friday 6 December at the official launch of the Arts & Culture Events Program for 2020 at Kyneton Town Hall.   The festivities begin at 5.30pm, with guests treated to complimentary drinks and food from regional producers, entertainment by presenting artists from the 2020 performance season, and generous ticket discounts and packages. There is also the chance to win a season pass in the Golden Ticket draw.   Highlighting Kyneton Town Hall in its ninetieth year, the free gala launch event will feature a Welcome to Country by a Taungurung Elder, and performances from comedian Jude Perl and jazz band, Sounds of Silent.    Local comedian Christian Bagin from the physical theatre ensemble, Company 13, will also be a highlight.   Everyone attending the launch can expect to be thoroughly entertained and looking forward to the diverse range of events on offer in the 2020 program.     To attend the launch, call 1300 888 802, email [email protected] or register online. Visit Upcoming shows and exhibitions after the launch. Please RSVP by Wednesday 4 December.   Copies of the 2020 season brochure will be available for collection from Monday 9 December at Council service centres in Kyneton, Gisborne, Woodend and Romsey.
