Over the last few weeks, Councillors and staff have travelled around the region to meet with the various communities. It has been a great opportunity to provide updates on projects, to answer questions and to discuss community concerns.

One of the recurring themes with the various communities is the need for the community to provide feedback to Council on issues that may arise.

One of the easiest ways to report an issue is by using the free smartphone app - “Snap Send Solve.”

Residents can use the Snap Send Solve app to provide feedback instantly to Council. It allows you to take a photo of an issue such as litter, waste, parking, street cleaning, public facilities, and by using GPS positioning, you can notify Council of the location of the problem.

Sometimes, an issue may not be resolved in the way you might expect Council to respond. As our Council does cover such a large area, we have intervention levels for slashing and road classifications for roads depending on the level of use.

However, if you are in doubt and you see a problem, let Council know. It can be as simple as snapping a photo, adding some details on the Snap Send Solve app or by completing a Customer Request.
