SATURDAY 7 SEPTEMBER 2019

The following temporary road closures will be in place on Saturday 7 September 2019 for the hosting of the Burdekin Water Festival.

6.00am to 12.00 midnight – Sideshow Alley

Edwards Street will be closed between Queen Street and MacMillan Street

1.00pm to 7.30pm – Water Festival Procession 

Queen Street will be closed between Mackenzie and Soper StreetsMacMillan Street will be closed between Mackenzie and Pool StreetsMackenzie Street will be closed between Graham and Wickham StreetsEdwards Street will be closed from Macmillan Street to the Queens Hotel bottle drive-in access

7.30pm to 12.00 midnight – Mardi Gras

Queen Street will be closed between Young and Parker StreetsEdwards Street will be closed from Macmillan Street to the Queens Hotel bottle drive-in access

Please Note: During the closure period, a temporary Taxi rank will be located in Edwards Street between the Queens Hotel bottle drive-in and Graham Street.
