City of Unley 15 Jul 2019
Renewal notices are now being delivered to City of Unley dog and cat owner.  Keep an eye out for your notice that will be delivered using your preferred method of delivery. (Either email, SMS or post).

If you have not received your renewal notice by Monday 15 July, please contact Council on 8372 5111 or log into the Dogs and Cats Online website to download a copy of your current renewal notice.

Please remember to renew your dog registration by 31 August.

Use the unique code on your notice to renewal your registration on Dogs and Cats Online. Penalties and expiations may apply for late registration or for keeping an unregistered dog.

Dog Registrations Registering your dog provides the council with a description of your dog and identifies you as the owner. If your dog is wearing its collar and registration tag, but becomes lost, we can use this identification to quickly reunite them with you. Income generated from registration fees is used to maintain and improve council’s dog management services and improve safety. Activities include:

controlling and reducing dog problems maintaining local dog parks and providing services and advice to dog owners and the wider community.  Cat Registrations Whilst the City of Unley does not charge a fee for cat registrations, it’s a requirement under legislation for cats to be recorded on ‘Dogs and Cats Online’ across the state. The renewal notice is a valuable reminder to ensure owners details and microchipping details are kept up to date.   For more details and support for responsible dog and cat ownership, please visit our Dogs & Cats page.
