Jump in for school holiday fun!

The Aqua Run returns to Lakes Entrance Aquadome these school holidays with water fun for locals and visitors alike.

The Aqua Run inflatable is back and all ages are welcome from 1-3pm. $3.60 plus pool entry. Children under five years need to be accompanied by a responsible person over the age of 16.

The Aqua Run will be in action on Tuesdays (July 2 and 9), Thursdays (July 4 and 11).

Other activities include a teen group fitness class for young people to improve their fitness on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4.45pm throughout July.

An intensive school holiday swim program is being offered with lessons each day for one week. Having lessons each day helps to improve water confidence and swimming ability. Cost is $55 held at Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centres.

Enjoy the free movie screening of How to Train your Dragon: The Hidden World from July 3-12 at the Bairnsdale Library and Omeo, Orbost, Lakes Entrance and Paynesville customer service centres.

Then there’s the family movie screening of Dumbo free at the Bairnsdale Library on Friday, July 12 at 6pm. Bookings on 5152 4225.

Other activities include making a beaded bookworm bookmark, games and book reading from July 3-11, Xbox and board games from July 3-12, and mug painting on July 4-5. The exciting Wildlife Show by Black Snake Productions at the Bairnsdale Library on Tuesday, July 9 is booked out.
