Help shape Dixon Field master plan

Would you like to be part of the development of a master plan for Gisborne’s Dixon Field?

Council is developing a master plan to guide potential future improvements and development of Dixon Field over the next 10 years.

The community is being asked to share their needs and aspirations for the site, and to detail any current issues with the facility.

Dixon Field is multipurpose open space and recreation reserve is located in Gisborne, bordered by Jacksons Creek, Council’s Gisborne Administration Centre and Robertson Street.

Dixon Field is the home to several sports clubs including:

Gisborne Soccer Club Gisborne Tennis Club Macedon Ranges Croquet Club Gisborne Cricket Club Gisborne Little Athletics Club.

Dixon Field also caters for a large number of casual uses including walking, running, dog walking and other sports.

There is also an emergency services helipad is located on the western side of the reserve.

You can have your say until 30 June 2019. Community listening posts will also be held following the consideration of feedback received from the community and the tenant clubs.
