Strathbogie Shire Council is encouraging local farmers to put the tools down, grab the family and come along for a relaxing evening with great food and great company.

A Night to Forget is a free event for farmers, rural businesses and their families happening on Friday 21st June from 5.30-9pm at the Euroa Showgrounds.

A scrumptious free dinner will be provided by the wonderful people at the Euroa Agriculture Society, Rotary Club of Euroa and Euroa Branch of the Country Women’s Association.

There will be door prizes to give away on the night and children will be treated to a 40 minute puppeteer extravaganza, followed by a movie.

There will also be the opportunity to learn more about the variety of services and networks available to farmers and agriculture businesses.

Rural Counsellor Ivan Lister and Rural Financial Counsellors Jim Moll and Andrew Hipwell will be coming along to the event to speak with anyone who is interested in finding out more about their services.

There will also be representatives from Gecko Clan Landcare Network, Granite Creeks Landcare Network, Alliance for Water Stewardship, Longwood Plains Catchment Management Network and Strathbogie Ranges Catchment Management Network, who will be available to speak with people on the evening.

Register with trybooking www.trybooking.com/BCYZF or register with Customer Service staff at Council on 1800 065 993, preferably by Friday 14th June, for catering purposes.
