We're conducting a community consultation on the upgrad of Rose Hedge Reserve. You're invited to a Listening Post to discuss the proposed future works. The Listening Post will include a no charge barbecue.

The proposed works include the installation of playground elements such as a landmark tower with slides, swing set, rotating play equipment, acoustical play items, hedge maze, picnic area and picnic setting, raingarden (subject to feasibility outcome) and associated look out deck and seating areas, Swales and associated planting, planting of canopy trees.

These works are scheduled to commence early 2020.

Rose Hedge Reserve Suburban Park in Sydenham is scheduled to be upgraded as part of Council’s annual Capital Works Program for the 2019/2020 financial year, subject to final budget approval. Since 2008, Council has upgraded 105 parks and spent $32 million transforming the park network through the continued implementation of Brimbank’s Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan (2016).
