The Borough’s Anzac Day Services are held to honour and remember all Australians who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. This year three Anzac Day services will be held in the Borough of Queenscliffe on Thursday 25 April 2019:

5:45am Dawn Service in the Ocean View Car Park (also known as the Bullring) at the southern end of Hesse Street, Queenscliff. 9:00am Anzac Day Service at the Point Lonsdale Cenotaph (March from the corner of Point Lonsdale Road and Kirk Road at 8:30am). 11:00am Anzac Day Service at Fort Queenscliff (March from the Queenscliff Post Office at 10:45am; assemble from 10:30am).

Please note that temporary road closures will be in place at locations in Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale on Anzac Day. Please click here for details.

Members of our armed forces have done what most of us are never asked to do, they have been prepared to put their lives on the line for our country and still do so. Council encourages you to participate in a local service and together we will remember them.

May the spirit of the Anzacs live on.

Lest we forget.
