Attention all food vendors, artists, community groups, organisations and businesses – Gladstone Regional Council is calling on your services!

To ensure the annual Luminous event is bigger, better and brighter than ever before, Council is inviting all the above to be involved and provide their service/s throughout the two-day event.

Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said following the success of the inaugural Luminous event in late 2018, he was excited to once again welcome the illuminated wonder to the region in July.

“We had an overwhelming response last year, with crowds well in excess of 8000 people, and we are expecting it to be even more this year,” Councillor Burnett said.

“This provides a fantastic opportunity for local vendors, artists, community groups, organisations and businesses to promote their services to such a large audience.”

Food vendors must comply with all food safety regulation and be available to trade from 5.30pm to 9pm on both nights.

Cr Burnett encouraged local artists, community groups, organisations and businesses to put forward a proposal for their involvement in the event.

“These services should aim to increase community engagement, adding a practical, informative, decorative, illuminated element to compliment the Luminous theme,” he said.

The service/s from artists, community groups, organisations and businesses is flexible to the submitter’s ideas and capacity to deliver. Applications for all services closes 9am Tuesday, 23 April.

Please note: Submission of a food vendor application does not automatically guarantee a site at Luminous.
