The Burrumbuttock Hay Runners are due to hit town at approximately 12 noon tomorrow and this convoy will be an absolutely spectacular sight! We hope as many community members as possible can make it to the eastern entrance of town to welcome them all as they enter Quilpie!
On Saturday, the Hay Run is happening, but there will also be displays, merchandise truck, tractor rides for the kids & lots of giveaways occurring at Bulloo Park during the Day. Make sure you bring the family!
Australia Day celebrations commence at 5.30pm at Bulloo Park. Australia Day Awards will be announced and there will be a meal, bar and live music! There will also be a bus service from 5.00pm Saturday until midnight. Courtesy bus will available please contact our friendly bus driver Mark on 0439529560.
