Do you have a dog you’d like to be able to let off for a run at an off-leash park?

The good news is Strathbogie Shire Council is investigating locations and requirements for the implementation of an off-leash dog area in Euroa and Nagambie.

Council is calling on the community to provide their ideas and opinions on locations they think would be appropriate for this type of activity.  

An off-leash dog area is a designated area where dogs can exercise and play off the leash under the supervision of their owners.

They can be hugely valuable, providing physical and mental health benefits to the community derived through physical exercise, social interaction and pet kinship.

Residents of the Strathbogie Shire can provide their input in the following ways:

Council is taking suggestions until 5pm Thursday, 31 January, 2019 and all feedback will be considered, along with associated requirements, to inform decision making.
