Nature Walk in Karawatha Forest

Sunday, September 16, 2018, 9 – 11am Did you know the Karawatha Forest is one of the largest areas of remnant bushland within our city? Learn about the local flora and fauna on a guided walk along the 2.5 km Rocks track. After the walk visitors can enjoy the parkland and displays at the Discovery Centre. Cost: Free Event type: Family events, Fitness & well-being, Free, Green Bookings: No bookings required. Volunteer guides lead walks for groups of up to 20 people per group., This walk is suitable for ages 10 years and over. Children must be supervised by an adult. Meeting point: Discovery Centre Requirements: Wear a wide-brimmed hat, fully enclosed, secure walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.
