Chontelle Jannese rides Pete to victory in Race 1. A big crowd was in to watch the camel racing. Andrew Saunders interviews Chontelle Jannese after the race. Pete's connections celebrate the win. Boulia Shire Council Acting Chief Executive Officer Harin Karra presents a prize to connections of Little Tower who finished second. Third placed finisher. Isa Queen Quest contestant Tegan Ferris and Trish McNamara try to sort them out for tig. Which involved tapping other runners. And occasionally biting the dust. Though the younger contestants got the hang of it... ...very quickly. Nathan Bridge and Hannah Colquhoun from Cairns. Moving on from Bedourie to Boulia were Queen Helen and her footman (not King as we erroneously reported last week!) Jim raising money with their dunny for RFDS. Jade Peake and Cheryl Bruce from the Isa. Heat 2 and Chontelle Jannese wins again on Ace edging out Glenda Sutton on Uncle Bob. Ace's connections celebrate the win. Second place for Uncle Bob. Lazy Girl was third. Georgia Lunn and Kristi Borting from Mount Isa. Tegan Ferris dishes out the eggs for the egg and spoon race. Concentration required before the race. Because YOU DON'T WANT TO DROP IT! And they are off. Some needed a little assistance from dad. Others were quite ready to do it by themselves, thank you. Ami Aminza and Norfarehe Khairia were Malaysian students at JCU Mackay, enjoying a trip to the outback. Heat 3 and Chontelle Jannese wins again this time on Jackie. A win for Jackie. Blinky Bill second. Outlaw Bobaluie third. Next up is the three-legged race which the height differential a sizeable obstacle some were prepared to ignore. On your marks. Get set. Go! or not... We loved this little photo bomber in the corner. Ready for round 2 of the three-legged race. Last minute checks. We're ready! And we are off again. Race 4 and Chontelle Jannese makes it four from four on Razorback Jack. Chontelle gets a hug from Oakfield "boss lady" Diane Gooley. Razor Back Jack wins.
