Huon Valley Council allocates annual funding and in-kind assistance to support community projects and programs that have a clear community benefit.
The Huon Valley Council Community Grants Program provides financial assistance and in-kind support for projects and programs that involve, engage and benefit the Huon Valley community. Funded projects and programs will support community projects and programs that have a clear community benefit and align with relevant objectives of the Huon Valley Council Strategic Plan 2015-2025.
There are three types of funding:
SMALL GRANTS – that are up to the value of $1,000 with no added financial community contribution required MEDIUM GRANTS – over $1,001 up to $2,000 with 25% financial or in kind support (i.e. $2,000 grant requires $500 income or community contribution) LARGE GRANTS – over $2,001 up to $3,000 with 50% financial or in kind support (i.e. $3,000 grant requires $1500 income or community contribution) GRANTS CLOSE MONDAY 03 SEPTEMBER 2018 AT 10AM Community Information Sessions will be available to allow for applicants to learn more about the Grant’s program and to talk to Council staff about their application.
