West Coast Council 12 Jul 2018
West Coast Council are undertaking a study into the current waste transfer station arrangements available in the region. The study aims to capture how well our current services work, and how they may evolve and/or change in the future.

West Coast Council operates 7 waste transfer stations that are open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  A kerbside waste service is also provided, and residents have the option of recycling if they wish.   Currently the transfer stations are not manned, and this has resulted in vandalism occurring frequently which has a financial impact on the community.  West Coast Councils aim is to ensure the waste transfer stations are safe and accessible to all users including our employees.

There are three sections to this survey; one for residents, one for business owners, and one about pricing.  You do not need to answer all the questions in the section relevant to you, but the more feedback you can provide, the better we can understand any possible issues.
