// VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION EVENT // ???? ????As promised, here’s some photos from the Volunteer Recognition Event held in Coonalpyn last week during National Volunteer Week. Thank you to the Murray Valley Standard, Bob Shurville, and Council staff for capturing the day. ???? ????It was great to see our volunteers enjoying an afternoon of laughs, fun and food, we hope you all had a great time. In the words of Cosi, “without your commitment and passion our state would be stuffed in a week!”. ????Thank you for the work you do in making our communities a better place to live! ???? Congratulations to Bobby Jo May from Meningie who was awarded the ‘Unsung Hero’, a very well deserved recipient, thank you to Prue Cartledge for the nomination. ????We received some very strong nominations this year and it was very difficult to judge. Congratulations to all the nominations, it was evident we have very hardworking and dedicated volunteers within our community. ???? ????We look forward to hosting you all again next year! ???? ????
