So a big thank you to everyone that has volunteered at some stage over the last 12 months, without you parkrun wont happen So here is to another successful year! This week 19 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 6 were first timers and 4 recorded new Personal Bests. As part of the Economics and Business curriculum at the school the class looked at community needs and wants and highlighted some key areas that could be addressed and presented them to the Mayor. Some of the concerns and needs they addressed were centered around the playground????‍♀️ and its safety aspects, pot holes and the lack of foot paths. It was such a pleasure to host the Year 5/6 class and commend them for their considerations on future needs and improvements around the town.
