Wellington Shire Council have completed works on a $45,000 refurbishment to the playground at the Fred Drury Reserve in Maffra.

The playground was identified as needing an upgrade as part of Council’s playground renewal program. Works commenced in May and took around six weeks to complete.

Wellington Shire Council General Manager Built and Natural Environment Chris Hastie says: “Council is delighted to have completed these works and create a play area that meets the needs of the local community. The upgrades have made this a more contemporary playspace that provides greater play opportunities and a fun and enjoyable space for families.”
